The Tyrrell family has spent over 100 years growing flowers for bulbs and wholesale cut flowers — it’s what the boys do best.
After the popularity of our PYO pumpkins, launching PYO sunflowers was the perfect next step, supported by the machinery and expertise we already had.
From 2025, we’ve welcomed the public into our sunflower fields to pick their own straight from the source

Entry to the PYO field is £2 per person, with children under 10 entering for free.
Once inside, you can pick sunflowers at £1 per stem or six for £5.
You’re also welcome to gather a bunch of wildflowers to take home for £1.
You will find a dozen different varieties of sunflowers in our patch.
From the giant king kong 2m+ tall to the everyday sunflower you are used to.
You will find many different types of flowers in our wildflower patch.
Within the fields of flowers, you’ll find plenty of fun photo opportunities for the whole family.
From bright sunflower backdrops to colourful wildflower scenes.
As shared on our social media, you can also enjoy delicious food and drink provided by local vendors during your visit.
